Week 13

Thursday was our last day in service and Friday we stayed home and packed all day and cleaned the house. Todd and Amy came by in the evening and we all went out to grab a bite to eat. Tomorrow morning they will pick us up and take us to the airport. We have had such a great time here these past 3 months. We made a lot of new friends and we hate to have to say goodbye, and we promised them all that we will see them again soon. The field ministry here has been so much fun and productive. I started 2 bible studies while here. A third one was handed over to me by Chaba with a young couple who are seventh day adventists. He's actually a youth pastor. On my last study, when I told him we would be leaving soon, he said, "will you have someone else come by and continue the bible study, because I really like the study AND I need it!" Chastity studied with three fleshly sisters and two of them came last week to hear my public talk. Both of the girls offered comments during the watchtower study. The oldest one, Ruby who is 12, leaned over halfway through the watchtower study and whispered to Chastity, "I don't want to go home now."
It's been a real privilege to be able to come here and serve in a foreign country and though I know most of you don't have the circumstances to be able to do this for as long a time, by all means if you can make your circumstances work to be able to come down for even a week or two, the brothers and sisters here would more than love to have you. Service is amazing, the congregation is so welcoming and the weather is wonderful!
I hope you all enjoyed the blog.
Till next time, adios!
Wednesday we dropped off Meagan, Laura, Ethan and Megan at the airport to head home. We will be following closely behind, our flight leaves Saturday afternoon.
I smell bacon!

So you may be wondering, "why is Ethan wearing flipflops out in the ministry?"....well, that's what you would prefer too if you had as bad a sunburn as he did.
