Week 8

We need Caleb and Erin to come straighten our sign on the Kingdom Hall here.
Our friends the Corona's after the meeting.
At the beach, Chaba paid on of the mariachi bands to come and play for the girls. I think Todd and Chaba enjoyed it more though.
The girls had a hard time seeing the road ahead with Chaba and his Mexican sombrero hat on.
Chaba got a little frustrated by our can opener....I don't know what the problem was, it seemed to work fine, the can is open isn't it?
did!
they certainly.....
We saw these twins by the road with their lasso's with one of them looking kind of sad so Chaba jumped out of the car and offered them some pesos if they would show us their skills and............
Chaba took his turn in the truck too.
We just got through chowing down on some of Chaba's awesome cooking. He spoiled us the week they were here by cooking up some great mexican dishes for us!
Yes all 6 of us fit in the little Crossfox, with Megan being crammed in the back trunk area.
I don't think this truck was made for that kind of weight.
We stopped at Starbucks for a break and as we were leaving we noticed a man reading his bible inside. Chaba decided to go back and in with the "Truth" tract and talk to him. He took the tract and thanked Chaba for stopping.
We picked up Chaba and Angie (our friends we met in Costa Rica last year) at the bus station at 7am on Wednesday. They had been on the bus all night long traveling from Dolores Hildalgo. They were wiped out but still wanted to go out in the ministry so we all headed out.
As soon as the girls got off the plane, poor Megan Z. had a look of..."I want to die". She had a severe migrane and headed straight to the bathroom. On the drive back to the house she was pretty quite until a half a block from the house she yells, "PULL OVER NOW!" and bails out of the car hurling her brains out. Here's what she looked like when she got to the house. Poor thing. Chastity gave her some of her migrane medicine and she finally went to sleep.
We were SO excited to see the Megan's, especially because of some care packages from some of the friends back home. One in particular made our stomachs very happy.......THANKS KARLEEN!!
Leaving to go pick up the girls at the airport we couldn't believe the amount of Valentine's day decorations we saw. It is apparently a HUGE holiday here, one of the most popular they have. At night many of the streets were closed for dancing and balls with most of the people dressed up formally.
